Responsibilities include:

-providing attraction information and recommendation to visitors

-using square register for transactions

Enjoy a lively lakeside environment with fun and talented coworkers. Bartenders at Pirates Hideaway work front-of-house in a 3-season outdoor tiki bar on Duck Lake with indoor & outdoor seating. Pirates Hideaway specializes in tropical cocktails and serves a variety of tap and domestic beers, while the back of house prepares simple lakeside lunches and specializes in woodfired pizzas. They are also known for live music 4 nights a week.

We are looking for individuals interested in part to semi full time seasonal food prep positions. Responsibilities would include pizza, sandwich, salad, and appetizer prep. Employees would gain experience in a fast paced growing business and have the opportunity to gain experience with a woodfired pizza oven. Pirates Hideaway’s uses top notch quality ingredients for their pizzas, and they make their own dough/sauce from scratch. Join the team and be proud of the quality served to our lakeside customers. Kitchen experience is a plus, but not required. We are mostly looking to fill morning to afternoon shifts, but can be flexible based on availability.

Pirates Hideaway is a fun summertime Northwoods destination seeking qualified applicants for various seasonal summer positions. Part-time opportunities are available on our grounds and garden crew (15-30 hours per week). Enjoy working outside on Duck Lake in Eagle River!

Position responsibilities can include:
-Gardening (pruning, weeding, watering, etc.) No experience required
-Aesthetics & Refuse Management (Helping ensure attraction grounds are clean and ready to open.)

These are morning positions that include helping to maintain various garden beds around the property. Responsibilities with aesthetics and refuse involve arranging tables, moving trash cans with a lawn mower from the lakefront to a dumpster, help with lawn care, scanning the property for customer hazards, moving firewood, etc.)

This position provides a great way to spend the summer at a fun lakeside establishment, while gaining experience in a small growing business. This position has two main components:

1) Gift Shop Cashier and Oversight
2) Pirate Ship Check-ins & Reservations

This position is located mainly in the Gift Shop at Pirates Hideaway. Employees would be responsible for checking out guests, keeping a clean work environment, logging inventory, and other minor data input.

The gift shop is also the first point of contact when people arrive for pirate ship rides, where employees check them in for tours. This can be a lot of fun as people are always so excited to ride the pirate ship! You would also be talking to customers about ride information and taking reservations in person, and sometimes over the phone.

Applicants should be social, willing to sincerely engage with others, and have basic to average computer skills. All aspects of this position are easily trainable, even with no prior knowledge about this business.
